GSPB strives for a sustainable future by reducing waste, recycling, and adopting circular economy principles for product lifecycle.
At GSPB, we believe in building a better future for the world. Our goal is to drive a sustainable outcome for the communities, environment and our customers. By reducing waste, saving energy, recycling and preventing pollution, we are creating more value while using fewer natural resources, hence protecting the environment.
Through the continuous research and development and implementation of the 3Rs (reduce, reuse and recycle) of water and raw materials, we adopt a circular economic mindset on our products to achieve end-of-product lifecycle recycling.
Our Sustainability Practices – Preserving Natural Resources
Our parent company, Oji Holdings Corporation, has undertaken serious policy initiatives to reduce its environmental impact on the planet. It aims to reduce 70% of carbon emission by 2030 under the Environmental Action Program 2030 and to achieve Net Zero carbon by 2050 under the Environmental Vision 2050.
In line with our parent company’s objective, GSPB believes in building a better future for the world by driving a sustainable outcome for the communities, environment and our customers. By reducing waste, saving energy, recycling and preventing pollution, we are creating more value while using fewer natural resources, hence protecting the environment.
Through the continuous research, development and implementation of the 3Rs (Reduce, Reuse and Recycle) of water and raw materials, we adopt a circular economic mind-set on our products to achieve end of product recycling.
Furthermore, to institutionalise sustainability within the Company, GSPB has proactively undertaken to implement the Environment, Social and Governance policies within the Company. Here’s a snippet of our actions:
Environment
Utilising the most advance technology to harness natural resources in the most efficient manner. We have a Co-Generation plant to convert natural gas into electricity and steam to power up the manufacturing processes for both paper mill and packaging plants
Social
Investing in our communities. We mobilize our people, products and resources to address community needs around three signature causes: education, health & wellness and disaster relief.

Oji Group Environmental Charter
The Oji Group Environmental Charter requires the Oji Group to help create a truly enriched and sustainable society by developing business activities that harmonize with the environment from a global perspective. The Charter calls for the Oji Group to make autonomous efforts to achieve further environmental improvement, and aggressively drive its forest recycling, paper recycling, and global warming countermeasures forward.
Policy- GSPP Coporate Social Responsibility Code of Conduct
GSPP Holdings Sdn Bhd (GSPP) and its Subsidiaries set out to establish the Code of Conduct emphasizing on operational ethics where GSPP and its Suppliers and Subcontractors shall comply with all norms and legal requirements relevant to their business in line with international business standards and human rights values.
We mobilize our people, products and resources to address community needs around three signature causes: Education, Health & Wellness and Disaster Relief.
